The Story Behind Multi Flex Support ServicesStriving For Long-Term Progress, Not Temporary SolutionsWhen starting Multi Flex Support Services, our founders had a very clear vision of what support meant to them (and what it should mean to the rest of the industry): a support that is personalised, is a collaborative journey, and doesn’t just check boxes on an NDIS form. Our founders knew from decades of experience that support simply doesn’t only on a criteria sheet, and it would be a disservice to our participants. Our founders hardly even view support as a service. Instead, we see it as a personal collaboration between carer and participant, and a journey they embark on together, full of ongoing education, lasting memories, and independence to reach for and ultimately achieve. It’s no secret that our participants and their families actively embrace this mindset. It helps tremendously to know that you are making progress towards your goal, whatever that may be. |
Fostering New Memories With The Help Of Our Local CommunityThankfully, our local communities across NSW and Victoria have been invaluable in helping us achieve this mission of providing long-term support and an independent lifestyle for participants. We believe all journeys are easier to traverse together, rather than alone, and nothing helps more than regularly connecting our participants with their local community. Before founding Multi Flex Support Services, our founders were dismayed to learn that so many people lacked the means and the opportunities to connect with their local community, both in a social and activity setting. It wasn’t long before our founders made it their mission to have community participation be a foundational cornerstone of our support services. There is always so much joy on their faces when they make a connection or new friendship, that we recommend it to almost everyone. Social connections can and do provide a whole new level of meaning and fulfilment for our participants; and on a more selfish note, watching these connections grow provides us with all the fulfilment and job satisfaction we could ever ask for! |
